Welcome! My name is Kristin Phillips. I teach private piano and music theory lessons (children, youth, adults) - and voice lessons as an additional option later to some if interested and ready.

I absolutely love what I do! I strive to make music lessons an encouraging, peaceful, gentle, fun, and an exciting interaction and learning experience for each student. This is an Oregon music studio located in the town of Boring (97009). Students regularly travel from Sandy (97055), Brightwood (97011), Gresham (97030) (97080), Troutdale (97060), Estacada (97023), Damascus (97089), Clackamas (97015), Eagle Creek (97022), Happy Valley (97086), Oregon City (97045), Welches (97067), and more! It’s extra humbling when they have come for lessons from Beavercreek, Milwaukie, Vancouver, Camas, Battle Ground, St. Helens, Portland, and Rockaway Beach! Meet Teacher:

Hi! I began taking piano lessons in 1994 just before my 7th birthday, and have been teaching them since late February 2003. It is my desire to encourage my students as they develop proficiency in their instrument, joy in their curiosity of music, fun in the process of learning, and the abilities needed to play well in each skill - improvisation, sight reading, ear training, notation, composition, recording, technique, performing, and much more.

Weekly Lessons: 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 minutes.
